By using this platform Sibanye, you shall be deemed to have agreed to these terms of use ("Terms of Use"). These Terms of Use govern your relationship with Volkswagen South Africa (Pty) Ltd when using the Sibanye platform. In addition to these Terms of Use, your use of the platform and its contents is also subject to Volkswagen South Africa (Pty) Ltd policies and procedures, and your employment agreement (or other terms of engagement) with us.

Use of Content

Unless otherwise indicated, you are authorised to view, but not modify, copy or disseminate the content (or any part thereof) on Sibanye. Your use of the content is for informational, non-commercial purposes only. If you make a permissible copy of the content, the copy you make must include the copyright notice, where applicable, or other attribution rights associated with the content.

The content on Sibanye is the commercial and proprietary information of Volkswagen South Africa (Pty) Ltd and you are only allowed to use the content in the interests of Volkswagen South Africa (Pty) Ltd. Volkswagen South Africa (Pty) Ltd reserves the right to limit, disconnect or terminate your use of Sibanye in the event of any abuse or misuse by you.

Security

Your use of Sibanye is protected by a Personal Identification Number that is only known to you. If you have lost your Personal Identification Number or its secrecy has been compromised, you must immediately change your Personal Identification Number. Volkswagen South Africa (Pty) Ltd will not be held liable for any loss which you may suffer as a result of your Personal Identification Number being compromised.

Intellectual Property Rights

Sibanye and its contents are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws of the Republic of South Africa and/or foreign countries and owned and/or licensed to Volkswagen South Africa (Pty) Ltd. No license or right in the Platform or its contents is granted or conferred upon you.

You are not authorised to copy any software, proprietary processes, or technology embodied or described in this platform.

Sibanye may allow you to download material, logos and trademarks of Volkswagen South Africa (Pty) Ltd and/or third parties. All intellectual property rights in the material, logos and trademarks remain with Volkswagen South Africa (Pty) Ltd and/or the third party concerned. By downloading any such material from the platform(s) you do not obtain any intellectual property rights therein. Volkswagen South Africa (Pty) Ltd grants you a non-exclusive, perpetual license to display the material on your mobile device only. You may not share any downloaded material with others.

Privacy Statement

We may need to collect, use, store or process your personal information to operate Sibanye. By continuing to use Sibanye, you consent to us collecting, using, storing and processing your personal information.

Such Personal information shall be collected, used, stored or processed in compliance with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 ("POPI") and our privacy policies.

Your use of Sibanye is at your own risk. Sibanye and the Contents is provided on an “as is” basis and we do not provide any warranties, whether express or implied. We do not accept liability for any loss you may suffer as a result of your use of Sibanye or the contents.

You are advised that the Company reserves the right to monitor all communication, data and information stored or transmitted by means of the Company’s facilities whether internally or externally, and whether such are stored, sent or received.
