Welcome to Nvision – our cloud-based application to engage and stay connected within Reederei NORD.

NVision will strengthen your relationship with colleagues at sea and onshore. You will be able to share your thoughts and ideas not only with your peers, but also directly with your senior management on-board and in the office. Through this application, we will keep you informed about the latest developments at Reederei NORD, new ideas, innovative technologies, important alerts and general updates from the management. You will be able to chat with your co-workers on the other ships or at home to share experiences and best practices.

This digital forum requires a certain etiquette and we ask you to read and confirm your understanding of the ground rules (“Terms of Use”) we have set for the usage of NVision.

TERMS OF USE:

By joining NVision, you agree to these Terms of Use. When using this NVision, you should always consider Reederei NORD’s policies, all relevant procedures, and also the provisions of your employment agreement (or other terms of engagement) with Reederei NORD.

Use of content provided by Reederei NORD: Be responsible!

All content on NVision is the commercial and proprietary information of Reederei NORD and, unless otherwise indicated, you are authorised only to view - but not modify, copy or disseminate the content (or any part thereof) outside of this NVision. Your use of the content is for internal information and non- commercial purposes only to be shared strictly between employees of Reederei NORD. Any permissible copy of the content requires prior consent from authorized personnel of Reederei NORD and must include the copyright notice, where applicable, or other attribution rights associated with the content.

Be responsible – the content of the NVision shall remain an internal information and feedback source for the Reederei NORD employees only.

Use of content provided by the Users: Be respectful!

NVision provides features to actively create your own input, feedback and ideas, and where you will be able to upload your photos and to chat with your peers. We are proud to be a very diverse company, a fact we celebrate. Respect onwards others, regardless of gender, ethnicity or educational background, nationality, religion or sexual identity is the key to our company culture. We do not tolerate sexual harassment, bullying or any form of discrimination. Not at NORD and not in the Nvision community. Think before you comment to avoid negative and hurtful interactions or aggressive behaviour. Don't make posts or comments that may be considered defamatory, obscene, false, threatening, harassing or embarrassing to others. Share only photos and videos that you’ve taken or have the right to share, and that are appropriate for a diverse audience. Reederei NORD reserves the right to limit, disconnect or terminate the use and access to NVision in the event of any abuse or misuse by any of its members.

Be respectful - you are fully responsible for your actions, comments and any content you upload on the NVision.

Security: Be smart!

We have reduced the amount of personal information to the minimum, by only using your mobile phone number, your NORD Employee Number and your date of birth to create and validate your personal NVision account. No other personal data, like names, surnames, nationalities, bank accounts etc. are required or used for setting up your NVision account. If you are ever asked to provide such data in connection to your NVision account, please ignore such request and inform us immediately. Reederei NORD will not be liable for loss or breach of your data as a result of your personal input exposure.

Your use of the NVision is protected by a Personal Identification Number (“PIN”) that is only known to you. If you have lost your PIN or its secrecy has been compromised, you must immediately change your PIN. Reederei NORD will not be held liable for any loss which you may suffer as a result of your PIN being compromised

We strongly refrain you from exposing and posting on NVision any of your private and confidential information, which includes, but isn't limited to: credit card information, social security or alternate national identity numbers, private address, non-public phone numbers and non-public email addresses. Reederei NORD will not be held liable for any loss or leak of data and information which you may suffer as a result of posting it via NVision.

By agreeing to access information on your own device, you agree to take responsibility for the security of your device, for the information you access and the content you post. Use of NVision is subject to Reederei NORD’s policies and procedures.

Be smart – do not share the information which could compromise your own or your phone’s security.

Intellectual Property Rights: Be considerate!

NVision and its contents are protected by copyright, trademark, and the intellectual property laws of The Netherlands/or foreign countries and owned and/or licensed to Reederei NORD. No license or right in NVision or its contents is granted or conferred upon you. You are not authorised to copy any software, proprietary processes, or technology embodied or described in this NVision.

NVision may allow you to download material, logos and trademarks of Reederei NORD and/or third parties. All intellectual property rights in the material, logos and trademarks remain with Reederei NORD and/or the third party concerned. By downloading any such material from NVision you do not obtain any intellectual property rights therein. Reederei NORD grants you a non-exclusive, perpetual license to display the material on your mobile device only. You may not share any downloaded material with others or on any external mobile and/or social media platforms.

Be considerate - all content uploaded on the NVision application belongs to Reederei NORD.

Privacy Statement: Be conscious!

We may need to collect, use, store or process your personal information and content to operate the NVision. By continuing to use the NVision, you consent to us collecting, using, storing and processing such information in compliance with GDPR as stated in the Reederei NORD’s Data Protection Procedures.

Be conscious – learn the company’s Data Protection Procedures to be aware of your personal data security.

Liability: Be prudent!

Reederei NORD will use reasonable skill and care in providing and maintaining the content on NVision in a safe, secure, and error-free manner, but cannot guarantee that the NVision will always function without any disruptions, delays, or imperfections.

Your use of the NVision is at your own risk. NVision and its contents is provided on an “as is” basis and we do not provide any warranties, whether expressed or implied. We do not accept liability for any loss you may suffer as a result of your use of NVision and/ or its content, whether provided by Reederei NORD or by the Users. Reederei NORD will also not accept liability for death, personal injuries or fraudulent misrepresentation caused by the use of NVision and/ or its content uploaded by Reederei NORD and/or by the Users.

Be prudent – use NVision is a sensible manner and help to create a safe communication space within Reederei NORD.
