To whom does this Disclaimer and Guideline apply
This applies to all employees of Woolworths and anyone having a contractual relationship with the company to deliver work regardless of how they access the app or whether they are on or off Woolworths company networks while assessing the app.
Terms and Conditions
By using this mobile application MyWoolies platform ("Platform") you shall be deemed to have agreed to these terms of use ("Terms of Use"). These Terms of Use govern your relationship with Woolworths ("WW"/"we"/"us") when using the Platform. In addition to these Terms of Use, your use of the Platform and its contents is also subject to WW policies and procedures, and your employment agreement (or other terms of engagement) with us.
Use of content
Unless otherwise indicated, you are authorised to view, but not modify, copy or disseminate the content (or any part thereof) on this Platform. Your use of the Content is for informational, non-commercial purposes only. If you make a permissible copy of the Content, the copy you make must include the copyright notice, where applicable, or other attribution rights associated with the Content.
The Content on this Platform is the commercial and proprietary information of WW and you are only allowed to use the Content in the interests of WW. WW reserves the right to limit, disconnect or terminate your use of the Platform in the event of any abuse or misuse by you.
Security
Your use of the Platform is protected by a Personal Identification Number ("PIN") that is only known to you. If you have lost your PIN or its secrecy has been compromised, you must immediately change your PIN and/or request a new PIN. WW will not be held liable for any loss which you may suffer as a result of your PIN being compromised.
Intellectual Property Rights
This Platform and its contents are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws of the Republic of South Africa and/or foreign countries and owned and/or licensed to WW. No license or right in the Platform or its contents is granted or conferred upon you.
You are not authorised to copy any software, proprietary processes, or technology embodied or described in this Platform. The Platform may allow you to download material, logos and trade marks of WW and/or third parties. All intellectual property rights in the material, logos and trade marks remain with WW and/or the third party concerned. By downloading any such material from the Platform(s) you do not obtain any intellectual property rights therein. WW grants you a non- exclusive, perpetual license to display the material on your mobile device only. You may not share any downloaded material with others.
Privacy Statement
We may need to collect, use, store or process your personal information to operate the Platform. By continuing to use the Platform, you consent to us collecting, using, storing and processing your personal information.
Such Personal Information shall be collected, used, stored or processed in compliance with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 ("POPI") and our privacy policies.
Liability
Your use of the Platform is at your own risk. The Platform and the Contents is provided on an “as is” basis and we do not provide any warranties, whether express or implied. We do not accept liability for any loss you may suffer as a result of your use of the Platform or the Contents.
Using MyWoolies app in line with our Values
Ultimately you are responsible for the way in which you use this app.
Before you share anything on My Woolies think about what do I want to share and why, who do I want to share my comments, ideas and knowledge with or will what I am sharing improve our people and customer experience.
Make sure that your tone and content is respectful of others at all times. Please also be conscious of confidentiality at all times, keep peoples confidences and don’t release confidential, privileged or strategic information (including trade secrets, marketing information and analysis and financial information).
Please don’t post any derogatory remarks or comments that could place you or Woolworths in an embarrassing situation or expose Woolworths to external interest. Inappropriate postings may include (but are not limited to) discriminatory defamatory remarks, harassment, threats of violence or any other inappropriate or unlawful content. Personal attacks on colleagues, stakeholders (including customers), suppliers or service providers will not be tolerated.
Please use the app responsibly and ensure that you are always honest and accurate when you are posting comments or news. Remember once it is on the app it is out in the public domain.
If it is not acceptable in the workplace then it is not acceptable on the app.

In line with this value, please remember that all company information is confidential and you should be conscious about not sharing or using any company information, other than as necessary to deliver in your role.
Should you be involved in a particularly sensitive or strategic project you may be required to sign an additional non-disclosure agreement.
