Terms and Conditions

By using this App, you agree to these Terms of Use. These Terms of Use govern your relationship with us, being Impala Platinum Limited. In addition to these Terms of Use, your use of the App and its Contents is also subject to Impala Platinum Limited policies and procedures, and your employment agreement with us.

Application

These terms and conditions apply to all the temporary and permanent employees of Implats as well as agents and/or contractors working for Implats from to time. When we talk about "employees" in this policy we refer to all employees, agents and contractors of Implats.

General Guidelines

Users must ensure that their use of the App does not contravene any other company policy, in particular the Implats Information Systems (IT) Policy, Internet and E-mail Policy, all other relevant security policies and, most importantly, the Implats Group Code of Ethics.

Users may not post, share, react or comment on a post that may be abusive, racist, constitute hate-speech, obscene, pornographic, discriminatory, harassing, derogatory, defamatory, unlawful or otherwise inappropriate.

Users may not post or share any content belonging to any third party unless they have the third party's permission.

Users may not discuss or post information about colleagues, competitors, customers or business associates without their prior written approval.

Users may not post, share or forward any information about Implats that isn’t meant to be public. This includes any information that is confidential or proprietary to Implats.

Users may not use any Implats logos and/or trademarks and/or images of the workplace in their posts on this or on other digital platforms.

The company will not condone any infringement or violation of any law nor will it condone any unethical dealings or behaviour.

Use of Content

Unless otherwise indicated, you are authorised to view, but not modify, copy or disseminate the Content on this App; Your use of the Content is for informational, non-commercial purposes only. If you make a permissible copy of the Content, the copy you make must include the copyright notice, where applicable, or other attribution associated with the content.

The Content on this App is the commercial and proprietary information of Impala Platinum Limited and you are only allowed to use the Content in the interest of Impala Platinum Limited.

Security

Your use of the App is protected by a personal Identification Number that is only known to you. If you have lost your Personal Identification Number or if its secrecy has been compromised, you must immediately change your Personal Identification Number.

Intellectual Property Rights

This App and its contents are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of the Republic of South Africa and/or foreign countries. We and our licensors reserve all rights not expressly granted in these Terms of Use.

You are not authorised to copy any software, proprietary processes, or technology embodied or described in this App.

Privacy Statement

We may need to collect, use, store or process your Personal Information to operate the App.

Such Personal information shall be collected, used, stored or processed in compliance with the Protection of Personal Information (POPI) Act 4 of 2013 and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (EU) 2016/679

Liability

Your use of the App is at your own risk. The App and the Contents is provided on an “as is” basis and we do not provide any warranties, whether express or implied. We do not accept liability for any loss you may suffer as a result of your use of the App or the Contents.
