Terms and Conditions

By using this mobile application (MyCapricorn), you shall be deemed to have agreed to these terms of use ("Terms of Use"). These Terms of Use govern your relationship with Capricorn Group or any of its entities when using the MyCapricorn Platform. In addition to these Terms of Use, your use of the Platform and its contents is also subject to Capricorn Group’s policies and procedures, and your employment agreement (or other terms of engagement) with us.

Use of content

Unless otherwise indicated, you are authorised to view, but not modify, copy or disseminate the content (or any part thereof) on MyCapricorn. Your use of the Content is for informational, non-commercial purposes only. If you make a permissible copy of the Content, the copy you make must include the copyright notice, where applicable, or other attribution rights associated with the Content.

The Content on MyCapricorn is the commercial and proprietary information of Capricorn Group and you are only allowed to use the Content in the interests of Capricorn Group. Capricorn Group reserves the right to limit, disconnect or terminate your use of MyCapricorn in the event of any abuse or misuse by you.

Security

Your use of MyCapricorn is protected by a Personal Identification Number that is only known to you. If you have lost your Personal Identification Number or its security has been compromised, you must immediately change your Personal Identification Number. Capricorn Group will not be held liable for any loss which you may suffer as a result of your Personal Identification Number being compromised.

Intellectual Property Rights

MyCapricorn and its contents are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws of the Republic of South Africa and/or foreign countries and owned and/or licensed to Capricorn Group. No license or right in the Platform or its contents is granted or conferred upon you.

You are not authorised to copy any software, proprietary processes, or technology embodied or described in this Platform.

MyCapricorn may allow you to download material, logos, and trademarks of Capricorn Group and/or third parties. All intellectual property rights in the material, logos, and trademarks remain with Capricorn Group and/or the third party concerned. By downloading any such material from the Platform(s) you do not obtain any intellectual property rights therein. Capricorn Group grants you a non-exclusive, perpetual license to display the material on your mobile device only. You may not share any downloaded material with third parties.

Privacy Statement

Capricorn Group may need to collect, use, store or process your personal information to operate MyCapricorn. By continuing to use MyCapricorn, you consent to us collecting, using, storing and processing your personal information.

Such Personal Information shall be collected, used, stored or processed in compliance with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 ("POPI") and our privacy policies.

Liability

Your use of MyCapricorn is at your own risk. MyCapricorn and the Contents is provided on an “as is” basis and we do not provide any warranties, whether express or implied. Capricorn Group does not accept liability for any loss you may suffer as a result of your use of MyCapricorn or the Contents.
